The poster was printed in an edition of two hundred by a sign shop on West Douglas, which pulled it by hand over two evenings. The red went down first. The black went down second and did not land exactly on the red. Mrs. Fasnacht inspected the run and accepted it.
The band names are set in three tiers by billing. Blackmarket Kittens and Mechanical share the top line at the same size. The Council of Sleep is not in the tiers. It has a line of its own at the foot: AFTER DARK, IN CHAIRS.
Posters went up on telephone poles from Newton to Wellington and in the window of every record store in Wichita. Seven are known to survive. This is the eighth.
